Annual Celebrity Gala & Golf Classic
Please join us for The 4th Annual Celebrity Gala & Golf Tournament at the Longboat Key Club & Resort. This "all-star" event has quickly become one of the most exciting and well-attended events of the year in Sarasota. A growing number of affluent, sophisticated supporters from all over the United States gather every November on this special weekend to enjoy a star-studded evening and day of golf-all to benefit the All-Star Children's Foundation.
The Celebrity Gala, scheduled for Friday, November 21st, promises to be bigger and better than ever. Guests will attend a glamorous evening with fine cuisine, dancing, live entertainment and an extravagant live and silent auction. The live auction offers invaluable and unique experience packages you can't buy anywhere, including one-of-a-kind, original artwork by special guest and world-renowned artist Michael Israel. Israel will perform his spectacular "Art in Concert" show that is an awe inspiring blend of live performance and painting. In addition to his paintings, the Gala will showcase several other spectacular live auction lots. Guests will have the opportunity to bid on a Harry Winston Ladies Diamond Avenue Timepiece; a one-week stay on The World; and an autographed AC/DC drum skin featuring their newest album and tour.
This star-studded evening will also feature a live performance by The Greg Billings Band, who's recently released album "Do-Overs", can be heard on classic rock stations around the country.
On Saturday, November 22nd, participants will tee-off at the Longboat Key Club & Resort Harbourside Golf Course for a fun day of competition with high-profile celebrities. The tournament will begin with a golf clinic and Island Barbeque. The day concludes with an awards celebration and dinner, where each of the members on the winning team will receive a $1500 custom-made suit courtesy of Premier Clothiers.
